Marnelli & Christienne

Sweets and Brains?

Hi there, I’m Marnelli a Filipino Kiwi living in South Korea, and this is my blog.

This blog started out as a way to share my thoughts and my love of food. I shared the wonderful past time of eating, eating and more eating. I also tried to cook and bake a few things along the way. I love Hello Kitty, books, libraries and anything that reminds me of childhood. I always doodle and sometimes paint. I also enjoy learning about Korean and Japanese language and culture.

2015

When I began the blog I was in the last year of my undergrad figuring stuff out back in NZ. I’m still figuring stuff out while currently living and working as an English teacher in South Korea for a year through the TaLK program. I started my adventure in Korea on the 30th of July 2014.  As a result all my posts will be regarding my life and adventures during my stay in Korea.  I do hope 2015 is the year I get back into blogging more regularly…we’ll see.

I used to share my blog with my awesomesauce sis, Christienne, an English and Film graduate. So don’t be surprised to see her in other parts of the blog. These days she’s a bit busy to really blog with me but you should totally check out her film stuff at Au Revoir, Shosanna.
